The Cardinals also fell eight spots to No. 18 in the latest USA Today coaches’ poll and dropped nine positions to No. 20 in this week’s Associated Press Top 25. Entering the 12th week of the season, Louisville is joined in the national rankings by BIG EAST Conference member Rutgers (No. 22 in BCS standings/No. 20 in USA Today/No. 22 in AP), while
Cincinnati is among the teams receiving votes outside the top 25 in the coaches’ poll and AP poll.
