Louisville 17th in USA Today Coaches’ Poll, 19th in AP Top 25

Following yesterday’s road win at FIU, Louisville moved up one position in both the USA Today coaches’ poll and the Associated Press Top 25 released on Sunday. The Cardinals enter week five of the season ranked 17th by the coaches and 19th by the AP. Louisville is joined in the national rankings this week by fellow BIG EAST member Rutgers, which is 23rd in the coaches’ poll and 25th in the AP poll.

Up next, the unbeaten Cardinals (4-0) will play their second straight road game visiting Southern Mississippi (0-3) on Saturday at 8 p.m., ET in Hattiesburg. The game will be televised nationally by CBS Sports Network.
