Louisville 19th in AP Top 25, 20th in USA Today Coaches’ Poll

Following Saturday’s home win over Missouri State, Louisville moved up four spots in each of the two major national polls released on Sunday. The Cardinals (2-0) improved to No. 19 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll and advanced to No. 20 in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll following this week’s action.

Louisville remains the only BIG EAST Conference team ranked entering week three. USF is among the teams receiving votes in the AP Top 25, while the Bulls, Cincinnati and Rutgers are all receiving votes in the coaches’ poll. The Cardinals will next host North Carolina on Saturday at 3:30 p.m., ET at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium in a game televised by ABC/ESPN2.
