After back-to-back days of open practice sessions to begin preseason camp, the Louisville football team enjoyed an off day from full squad workouts on Sunday. With no practice on the schedule, Sunday was designated as photo day for the Cardinals. Along with new head shots and other group and position photos being done, head coach Charlie Strong started a unique tradition of having a photo taken with each player to be sent to their respective high schools. Sunday’s activities started with a team lunch at noon and continued with meetings and chapel.
The Cardinals will return to the practice fields on Monday at 5:15 p.m., for a closed session in helmets and shoulder pads.
With Sunday’s off day, “In the Huddle” takes a look back at Friday’s opening day of preseason camp with a “Sights and Sounds” video recap of the open practice.
