Louisville Narrowly Misses on Preseason Top 25

The Louisville football team narrowly missed on a preseason top 25 ranking with the release of the USA Today Coaches’ Poll on Thursday afternoon. The Cardinals were second among the schools outside of the top 25 receiving votes, while LSU, Alabama and USC led the way.

U of L players report for preseason camp at 6 p.m., ET this evening for dinner. That will be followed by meetings with the compliance department, training room and equipment staff. Preseason practice begins on Friday with an open session at 5:45 p.m., ET at the grass practice fields at the Howard Schnellenberger Football Complex.
