Cardinals in the NFL – Week 7

Here we are Louisville fans, edition No. 7 of Cardinals in the NFL from ‘Inside the Huddle.’ Eight Louisville letterwinners saw time on the gridiron in week four. Below is a breakdown of each player and their statistics:

Brock Bolen (Jacksonville, Fullback) – Bolen was inserted as a substitution in the Jaguars’ 12-7 victory over Baltimore on Monday Night Football.

Michael Bush (Oakland, Running Back) – In a substitution role, Bush rushed for a game-high 99 yards on 17 carries and also made two catches for 12 yards in a 28-0 loss to Kansas City.

Elvis Dumervil (Denver, Defensive End) – Dumervil earned the start at right defensive end in an 18-15 overtime victory over Miami. He made one solo stop.

Harry Douglas (Atlanta, Wide Receiver) – Douglas earned the start at wide receiver in a 23-16 victory over Detroit. He finished the game with four receptions for 62 yards.

William Gay (Pittsburgh, Cornerback) – Gay earned the start at left cornerback in a 32-20 victory over Arizona. He had three solo stops and one pass defensed in the win.

Breno Giacomini (Seattle, Offensive Tackle) – Giacomini saw time off the bench in a 6-3 loss to Cleveland.

Amobi Okoye (Chicago, Defensive Tackle) – Okoye saw playing time in the 24-18 victory over Tampa Bay, recording a solo sack for a loss of 14 yards.

Chris Redman (Quarterback, Atlanta) – Redman was inserted as a substitution and had one pass attempt in a 23-16 victory over Detroit.
