
University of Louisville freshman quarterback Teddy Bridgewater put together one of his best performances of the season against No. 24/21 West Virginia on Saturday and led the Cardinals to a 38-35 victory over the Mountaineers.
A Miami, Fla., native, he completed 21 of his 27 passes for one touchdown and a career-high 246 yards. His 77.7 completion percentage was the 10th-best single-game mark in school history.
Bridgewater, who has thrown for 1,275 yards and eight touchdowns this season and is completing 65.5 percent of his throws, earned national honors for his performance against West Virginia. Click here to see what honor was bestowed upon Bridgewater Sunday.
